Occasion |
rainy office workday |
Clothes |
Fitted vintage 70s tan long-sleeved button up with a super pointy collar and a funky (kind of insane) red, white, grey, brown and orange print I'll do my best to describe: thin brown lattice lines with grey, red and brown abstracted flowers at some intersections of the lines, white blobs presumably representing leaves at the others, with the head of a lady wearing a cloche hat in the spaces between the lines. This worn untucked over a black mini skirt with covered buttons up the side, worn over black tights. |
Outerwear |
Trench-colored somewhat cropped peacoat with big black buttons |
Accessories |
everyday silver crystal butterfly necklace, silver dangly flower earrings, brown relaxed hobo bag with rainbow sequins |
Shoes |
Dark burgundy patent doc marten ankle boots with thick matching ribbons for laces, tied into big obnoxious bows, worn with black scrunchy socks. |
Hair |
Slick back high ponytail with a black ribbon tied around the base. Bangs pinned up into a slight little bump in the front so I don't look like an egg. |
Makeup |
none besides upper lashline lined with brown shadow and a few swipes of revlon's goldpearl plum lipstick. No more full face at work yall I am tired. |
Feeling |
relieved I came up with something fun to wear. It was tricky getting dressed this morning because it's not as cold today as it has been and it threw me for a loop. I was also late because I tried on several different shirts before landing on this one. I feel chic and like I look like absolutely nobody else :) |

quite warm, thankfully, and cute in a relaxed and casual way. I've been wearing the heck out of this grey sweater. This is my second time this week and probably the 10th since I bought it at Goodwill literally 2 thursdays ago. It's also the second day in a row I've worn this black skirt which was purchased on the same shopping trip. I've had these boots for like 5 years at this point and I go back and forth between loving and hating them. I'm glad to be in a phase of loving them again. They've served me well and have years of life left in them still. The argyle tights take the outfit from millennial mundane (no offenseeee i swear) to cozy cunty af. |
