I've been wearing the hell out of these beige lace stirrup tights from Los Angeles Apparel. I style them under skirts for work or under some micro shorts if I'm out on the town, usually with ballet flats or mary janes. I want them in every color.
Prominent hosiery in general has been a staple for me for a few years. Colored and patterned tights, knee high socks, knit leg warmers (I have pink ones I wear in and out of dance class). Been loving a sheer, knee-high stocking with skirts lately. I really want some in a light beige color but can't seem to find any.
Also on the lace front, I've been throwing on a chunky clear lucite bangle inlaid with a black lace pattern that I recenty thrifted. It gives every single outfit a sort of 80's vibe that I'm really into. Loving a chunky statement piece of jewelry. Another I've been loving is a light green chunky pearl 3-strand choker. I'd never seen green pearls before and I couldn't resist. It's so perfectly obnoxious.
I'm also into lingerie as outerwear and bras in fun colors and patterns being visible through your clothing. I combined these the other night at the club by wearing a neon pink lace push up bra layered under a completely sheer and lace lilac-colored babydoll lingerie dress. I wore that with a pair of early 2000s ultra-low-rise jeans with a silver belt and silver ballet flats. The hot pink with the sheer purple was such a delicious color-combination and I could not have felt summerier or prettier.
Polka dots became ultra trendy within the last 2 years and I've been living for it. I truly cannot get enough. I've always loved them and will continue to when the trend dies down, because they're truly timeless. Last month I purchased a secondhand old Abercrombie casual scoop-backed flared tank mini dress in hot pink and I've been wearing it constantly. I also purchased a black early-2000s-does-60s fitted-drop-waist mini sleeveless boat-neck shift dress in black with giant grey and pink bubbles printed all over, with a black satin belt tied into a bow at the low waist. It's super fitted with a bit of movement in the skirt and is both sexy and whimsical. Horizontal stripes have also been incredibly compelling to me lately.
Go-to shoes lately have been Los Angeles Apparel jelly flats in white. They are so cute and flattering on. They're not the most comfortable, but hell, they aren't the least comfortable either.

I am heavily fucking with press-on nails lately. They're the perfect amount of commitment. Specifically, I'm obsessed with chunky square short-ish french tips. Such a classic look I can't believe fell out of popularity. I'm sure their comeback is nigh upon us.
For maybe the last year I've been forgoing mascara, especially for daily wear but even for more full-glam nighttime looks. Once I realized the freedom that comes with not wearing mascara, it was hard to go back. I would line my eyes with a soft brown wing on the upper lash line for a bit of elongation and definition and lift. Now, I've taken it another step further and am really enjoying no eyeliner at all or simply a less dramatic wing, There's something about the bright, open effect on the eyes when there's no darkness surrounding them whatsoever. For daytime I will define the area with some bronzer matching the rest of my face in the crease and a shimmery neutral highlight on the lid. For a more glam look I've been loving sunset colors in the crease, so like orange and corally pink. Not super bright or opaque or saturated like 2016 makeup but just like a transluscent wash, again with the neutral bronze shimmer on the lid, and a light pastel lavender on the lower lashline.
For the face I'm loving a fresh, sunkissed and bronzed look. For lips I'm loving a my-lips-but-better pink leaning a bit corally orangey.
Discovered air-dry hair cream very recently and it may have changed my life. I used the Sun Bum one and got the most fabulous natural waves with hardly any effort.
I'm loving super high fluffy curly ponytails lately, with some kind of deeply side-parted curled face framing pieces. I'm also loving low pigtails as an everyday protective style. They look fabulous when curled at the ends in alternating directions (kind of gives Dorothy).
I recently bought a sickly sweet cheap cotton-candy body spray at the drugstore and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. The scent barely lasts at all so I can spray as much as I want without consequence, and I just have this tiny lingering nostalgic sugary scent on me. I love to smell sweet like candy.
Discovered that using dial antibacterial soap in addition to your body wash makes a huge difference in these hot summer months where your well-meaning, aluminum-riddled antiperspirant deoderant may start to fail you before the end of the day (especially if your car AC is out like mine, though I would never wish that on any of you).
I can't stop eating greek salads, jimmy dean maple pancake breakfast sandwiches, and dried fruit strips. I can't stop drinking iced vanilla lattes.
